But for those that do, I imagine for some women it is a bit like cigarettes. Haven't they found all sorts of chemicals in chocolate? Those probably cause a reaction in some people.

I disagree. If I come into a party full of women and throw down a box of Godiva, the box will be empty in minutes and women will be commenting to one another about which were the best chocolates in the box, like a bunch of dessert afficiandos. I have never seen guys go nuts for a box of any sort of sweets. In college I'd see women eat entire pints of Ben and Jerry's. I have never seen a man do that.
I also note that generally I don't see men order dessert at dinner, whereas women will almost always hit the dessert menu. There is definitely a difference between the sexes when it comes to enjoyment of sweets, and particularly so in regard to chocolate.
I understand TM's inquisitiveness here. I feel like due to my maleness I'm missing out on some sort of wild sensual pleasure, and I'd like to know what it is.
I think men prefer salty tasting shit to sugary tasting things, but I have no support for this conclusion other than my own personal taste.
