This is the difference that I'm talking about. Give me a piece of chocolate and I'll eat it. But women go fucking nuts over it. There is a real difference and I want to know why that is.

(1) Social conditioning, probably. The pretty gold boxes; Valentine's Day; the slight 'naughtiness' women are freakishly taught to associate with enjoying food. Guys just don't have all that aimed at 'em.
(2) Not if you don't sit around inhaling Hershey's bars. Small piece of Valrhona chipped inelegantly off a block or a single handmade truffle--sublime, and no bodily damage.
