Speaking of Watches...
As watches are so important, and as I'm in the market for a new one...
Can anyone suggest a day-date watch that doesn't look like something worn by a Bennigan's manager?
Try to keep it under $500. I know Rolex makes a day-date watch, but I need to pay off my loans. I've been looking on-and-off for over a year, so I remember the discussion on the Stalin Board, but none of the candidates were day-date watches.
And I'm not talking about chronographs with 15 different dials and displays. I don't need to know where North is or how far under water I am.
Advice appreciated.
(And yes, my shoes are above-average in quality.)
