Nobody really said shit about it. The toughest treatment he got was from Jeff, who clearly disliked him. I only remember three of the survivors made any comment about it, and two were asked directly about it. Christa said it was a damn smart move and that she wished she had thought of it. Lil expressed grudging admiration for the balls it took to pull that off. Savage was the only one who came across as even half-way negative about what he pulled, and he was the one who wasn't asked about it directly.
Jeff asked Shawn how close he came to slugging him, however, because of the shouting matches those two had. Jon was actually hoping he'd get slugged so Shawn would have to leave the island without a vote.
The dude was a complete prick, but he played the game well.
FWIW, I found it more surprising that he would have gotten three votes to win the thing had Lil taken him instead of Sandra.
She was a fucking idiot for
not taking him, though I was surprised that the jury gave her such a hard time about not upholding the boy scout standards. WTF? Somehow she wasn't allowed to be deceitful? Puhleeze.
Edited to add: Unless I missed it, no one asked Sandra about throwing away the bucket of fish after Rupert was voted out. I was really looking forward to seeing what Christa had to say about that one.
