I'm not sure if this will capture credit card offers. Regardless, it's not a bad idea to call 1-888-5OPTOUT to direct the four credirtreporting agencies not to sell your information to all the assholes who say "Hey, Equifax, we'll give you $y for every ten thousand credit profiles you sell us with credit scores above z and annual incomes about $x."
I've gone from getting an average of 4 credit card offers per day (seriously) to getting one every week or so. Makes that much less shredding for me to do.
