Offer Recissions?
Has anyone heard anything about firms rescinding offers? I heard a rumor that a summer from last year who had declined my firm's offer was asking whether there was room for her because the other firm she summered at, whose offer she accepted, rescinded her offer.
Of course, it may be that her grades fell sharply or something like that, but curious. I don't recall what the other firm was, but I believe it was not a small firm, as she was to go into a pretty specialized practice area.
