While he is waiting, there are some amusing books on punctuation and grammar available now:

"The Deluxe Transitive Vampire: A Handbook of Grammar for the Innocent, the Eager and the Doomed" by Karen Gordon

"The Well Tempered Sentence: A Punctuation Handbook for the Innocent, the Eager and the Damned" by Karen Gordon

I have both of these and they are much more fun than Strunk & White. The illustrations are very gothic -- if BRC doesn't have these books, she should.
