I read this article with a mix of envy and disgust. Wow, I can't even imagine feeling this way.
My big question is, why bother going to school for a JD, MD or PhD if your goal in life is to be a stay at home mom? Why incur the debt?
I understand wanting to know that you can hold a "powerful" job but hell, you can be a pharmaceutical sales rep or a PR flak or an adevertising person without graduate school.
If I knew that all it would take to get me a house in the 'burbs, a couple of kids and vacations in France, along with a weekly Thursday night "date night" was to look well put together and have a bunch of kids, I might have foregone law school and business school and saved myslef about $100K.
