You can't fire Sam until near the end because he's the resident freak. The guy's already become as important to the show as Trump. You need to watch Sam deconstruct mentally for the next 9 weeks and then be fired at the end.
Trump hired the chicks by skirt. There isn't a single ugly girl in the bunch (well, maybe that one with the weird nose), whereas the guys look mostly average.
The fat guy who got fired on the first show is the classic "lawyer" of the group.
