Yeah, the good ole days. I remember, way back, they even used to show events live. Not the pre-packaged, mini-made-for-TV-movies that the Olympics have become.
Good sporting events generate their own drama, if it needs to be manufactured by some Director/Producer/Sponsor behind the scenes then it wasn't worth watching in the first place.
