if you read my correction iof bnbs post you would have seen my drippingly sarcastic note that Mr Pivot is the greatest interviewer ever (which is what Lipton always says when he introcudes it). That said, Ithink he is derivative of John Houseman in a cultured queer sense. One time he stepped out of character and said "hey, I am just from michigan".
I love the show despite James Lipton bc I like to learn about the craft. Though he is diluting the quality of the show by inviting people who havent had esepecially noteworthy careers to date. Jude Law (beautiful yes, legendary , no), Naomi Watts (too soon and she does heavy breathing a lot as an acting subsittute), Charlize Theron(too soon thgough she is certain to win an oscar this year). you get the drift.
