Disagree. STRoNGLY!
I think it looks cool.** On the weekends, I usually wear a long-sleeved t-shirt (a nice one) in one color (my fave is forest green, second fave is darkish teal -- kind of like the default color of the lawtalkers background if you're really curious), and then a contrasting color (often purple, but sometimes light blue) over it, and then my many-colored cardigan. I look smashing, I tell you! (My husband calls the t-shirt combo the surfer look -- but what does he know?)
**Please do not bring up my spirited defense of the cardigan-tied-around-the-shoulders strategy as evidence of my sartorial ignorance, or as proof that I'm talking out of my butt. The sweater thing is not looks-based, but climate-control based. Granted, I'm not as offended by the look as, say, oh, I don't know... THURGREED [imagine Church Lady saying "SATAAAN"]... but you won't catch me defending the sweater-around-shoulders as something to plan, a look to aspire to, or a fashion "do".
