No, it doesn't. For every good person who can't conceive there are a lot of obnoxious desperate-to-be-mommy types who cream at the notion of being in PTA meetings who I'm glad cannot conceive. I have a friend who's obsessed with having children because she desperately wants to be an uber-housewife. Cruelly, nature has decided not to reward her unhealthy obsession with being s Stepford wife. Sometimes I feel sorry for her, but other times I can't help but feel its karmic repayment for being a shallow person who always swore she'd never work and be a "kept mommy." Usually, I smugly feel more the latter than the former.
