I have no particular problem with Halliburton, nor do I think highly of Jacques Chirac. I will admit to being a contrarian. My point is that both Club and I voted for McClintock, so is it a bribe if I pay him and then he does something he was going to do anyway? Are fat-cat Republicans bribing George Bush when they donate to his campaign? I don't think so.

If some of you think the only reason that France opposed the war was that Iraq paid France off, and that this is proven by this document, I have a bridge to sell you. Did Iraq bribe Germany and Russia et al. too?
