BOSTON — Thousands of New England Patriots fans swarmed into the streets after the team's white-knuckle Super Bowl win, and some turned rowdy, overturning cars and lighting small fires. One person was killed when an SUV backed into a group of revelers.
I just don't get it. I am a sports fanatic on many levels but I just don't see myself tipping over cars, lighting fires and killing people because my team won (or lost, as the case may be). How does vandalism and death grow from "I am so damned happy that [insert your team here] won"? :shakehd:
