Trunk Funk Classics is a good overview for the uninitiated (and you can buy it through Amazon). Coincidently, I have the Saturday Nite remix with Mos Def playing right now.
N'Dea Davenport, who was their singer for a few albums, is still amazing. I heard her on a DJ Krush track last year and it blew me away.
