He may well have decided that if I couldn't persuade him to drop such an asinine policy, I probably didn't have a place as captain of the team, so it may have been on the merits. I never really thought of it that way. Hmmmm.
At any rate, I think the whole thing was probably great for my college applications. Except for the Bible colleges.
