My question is that when he said "whether they wanted to or not," did he mean whether the man wanted to or not or whether the woman wanted to or not. Makes a big difference.

If you are a woman who has few options to have sex, maybe that twice a month fuck might keep you interested in staying with a man. But for those of us who can get sex any time we want to by just going to the corner bar and making eye contact with the guys in the bar,* sex isn't going to be what keeps us with you.
