I'd have to go with basically now, but more specifically early 30s. Having survived a marriage that was less than thrilling in the sex dept, I think it took getting out of that situation to feel confident enough to really let my sex partners know what I like/dislike and what really gets me going.

I do, however sometimes wish that I had figured all this out while I still had my early 20s physique.
I would have to go with my early 20s. I was dating Mrs. Wonk, and had been for a few years at that point, and she was at her most adventuresome. In addition, we were at different colleges, and I had the freedom to explore other opportunities. I had a greater variety of partners than at any time before or since, and I also had the benefit of being with someone who I had been involved with long enough that we both had the confidence to suggest new and different things. We did more exploring then and had more adventuresome sex than we have had in years.
