I once dated a married man. I didn't know he was married -- no ring, called me all the time in the evening, took me public places, paid with a credit card, his secretary knew me by name. In short, he did everything one would do to establish a paper trail.

Unless you ask, and sometimes, like my situation when you do ask and they lie, you just never know.

That's because Wonk believes in total honesty when it comes to his infidelity and deception. Although he generally avoids speaking of himself in the third person.
