Here's my wild-ass prediction/fanatasy: in the middle of June A-Rod fouls a ball off his left foot and breaks it, and while he eventually comes back, he's never quite the same, and falls into obscurity by 2006. Meanwhile, Soriano cranks up in 2005 and starts a ten year streak of at least 50 home runs and 50 steals, going down as one of the greatest players the game has known, and this trade goes down as the biggest bone-head move in Yankee history, comparable to Baltimore's Schilling trade back in the day.
