*sigh* Yes, I know. I'm actually supposed to see a friend of mine who used to write for the show this weekend and another friend who was a PA for ME a few years back, so I'll try to get the scoop from them on what's going on.
Apparently Joss is pissed off about the whole thing and was apparently blindsided. My guess? The decision was made when SMG said she wasn't going to come back to guest star. There's probably a lot of rewriting going on right now.
