And since that ain't going to happen because the players will never agree to it, how long are you going to keep whining? I seem to recall a number of periods in the past where the Yankees dominated and it wasn't the end of baseball. Hell, we're not even dominant compared to a number of those teams. This is baseball. It means something to beat the Yankees.

There was parity in the 80s and there were only a few exciting series. The Arizona/New York Series and the Boston/New York championship series last year were two of the best of all time. Baseball is alive and well.
