If the fact that she's a girl is a bad thing because it distracts the players, then he's really insulting his players more than her because it makes them sound like idiots. If the fact that she's a girl is just bad, period, then he's just being an idiot.

I think you give him too much credit. He probably figured it was clear that since she was a girl, she would suck. But then he thought better of it and decided to make it clear she sucked. He doesn't seem that bright. That thought process makes sense if she wanted to be a middle linebacker, not a kicker.

Uh...one made kick (and I don't know where it was from) from a backup kicker when the game is already in hand or totally out of hand (I don't think it mattered if she hit it or not) doesn't exactly take you out of the "sucks" category.
