While I am firmly of the opinion that anyone stuck working on Xmas can eat whereever and whatever the fuck they want, cc:ing the accounting tool's boss was sucky. The accounting tool, whether incompetent or not, did not send a snitty reply, and seemed decently apologetic for the GA being stuck in the stupid-policy-grinder. I can even accept a somewhat snarky response to the accounting tool just out of sheer frustration and annoyance - but cc:ing the boss like the accounting tool has done something wrong is not OK.

I think that we're all in agreement that the approriate action is to ignore the accounting tool. My question is, do you bother the partner whose deal you were working on to get him to override AT or do you just discuss with AT's boss?
