Besides, it's in some dead-ass language that nobody speaks and has no subtitles. Any film that carries so much hubris with it should be boycotted on that basis alone.

From the movie trailers, it appears Mel caved and put in English subtitles. Even though I read the book, I am grateful for that concession: my high school didn't offer Latin, my college didn't offer Latin or Aramaic and I didn't take Greek in college.
