When you finish a show with your best material like that, you want to say something like "thank you and have a good night" to let the audience know that you're done. Otherwise they're waiting for you to work Wilt Chamberlain in there, or to make a Clinton-anal joke. I'm sure you've got one of those, too, and I'm sure it would kill.
