I can dispute the "no one would ever drink it for the taste" in that I know several people (perhaps not the indie free-thinkers that you all (other than barely) are) who will basically only drink their lattes and that basically poo poo the non-Starbucks versions now. Said folks do admit that it could be related to some extra (besides the caffeine, I mean) addictive ingredient that Starbucks is slipping into them. No idea on regular coffee.

Sometimes a cafe au lait, which Starfucks apparently changed to "Misto"...and I get corrected when I order a "cafe au lait": "Oh you mean a 'misto'." NO! I mean coffee with fucking hot milk you fuckhole.
