It sounds as if the Cali supreme court didn't learn anything from California's retaliation against the Rose Bird supreme court. The voters retaliated against the Bird court for its anti-death penalty / pro-criminal rights stance by sacking THREE Cali supreme court justices and many, many more lefty lower court judges. It was a major set back for lefty economic issues, all because of a pesky social issue.
