I think the framers, in their infinite wisdom, considered "adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort" to mean something more than a press conference in opposition to the administration's "policy" vis-a-vis an "enemy."
We've got troops on the ground in Iraq; does that mean Sean Penn was almost treasonous during the Oscar broadcast? (Don't answer that.)
