Suzy Vulaca (Unbreak My Heart): great hair, good performance but somehow lacking zing. Wouldn't mind seeing her again in the wild card round, to see if she can step it up a notch, but I suspect the wild card round will be mostly men to make up their numbers.
John Preator (That's What Love Is All About): Is anyone else disturbed by his remarkable resemblance to Art Garfunkel? Too bad he didn't sound more like him. There are good singers in the Young Ambassadors, but this guy is not one of them. It was like bad community theater. Song was shapeless, too.
Heather Piccinini (New Attitude): White girls should not attempt Patti Labelle. At least, this white girl shouldn't. Her performance was a bit overwrought, and overly mannered.
John Stevens (Always a Woman to Me): Loooooove his red hair. But his voice is immature and has no bottom to it. Don't know what you people are talking about saying it's really deep. No no no. He also had severe pitch problems. I'd like to see him in another ten years or so, when he's perhaps developed some low notes.
Jasmine Trias (Run to You): She needs to support her high notes better--she was under pitch on a lot of them. It's possible she had a frog in her throat. She's basically the same age as John Stevens, but with a much more mature voice. If the voting goes how I think it might, we'll have two Hawaiian girls in the final 12.
George Huff (Always and Forever): Hooray for that other kid's DUI that brought George back to us. I had been really disappointed when he didn't make it into the final 32. Though he had a rough start, he has a really nice, rich voice and sings with emotion. This is what a voice with depth sounds like.
Lisa Wilson (Come to My Window): There's no way to get around it, this girl was just BAD. Shouty. And her boobs are still really fake.
Tiara Purifoy (I Wanna Dance with Somebody): She way oversang the song (what was up with that arrangement?!?), and her pitch was all over the place, sometimes sharp and sometimes flat. If these problems are somehow overlooked by the American public and she gets voted through, she will look even worse because she'll be next to Fantasia Barrino and Latoya London.

PS I heard a rumor that Larissa and Gil are still together, and that him leaving in a huff after the revelation of her history with Fabio was a setup to make better TV. This is supported by the fact that one of the easiest cryers in reality TV history was completely dry-eyed after being "dumped."
