I had a hard time getting through for George, so that's positive.

I was almost down the line in agreement with Simon other than saying the screamer looked ugly while singing. It was not a great night of performances.
1. Suzy Valaca: I liked her better than the judges did, especially in comparison to later performers, and didn't think she was forgettable. Wouldn't be surprised if she was in the top 3.
2. John Preator (MO boy): Painful!!! So out of tune, my body was tensing up. I feel sorry for any listeners with perfect pitch. Big No.
3. Heather Piccini: Randy thought hotel lounge singer; I thought karaoke bar. Another big no.
4. John Stevens (crooner): I love his voice. The performance wasn't exciting, but I really enjoy listening to him sing. The phone lines were closed by the time I got home last night or I'd have called in several times for him. If he doesn't make top 3, I hope Simon will wild card him.
5. Jasmine Trias (Hawaii): She did really well for most of the song and then started "pushing." She needs a voice teacher who'll tell her that if she keeps doing that, she's going to lose her voice. Probably a sure thing to move on.
6. George Huff. He started off just awful and out of tune. I thought the awfulness lasted for more of his performance than the judges, E/O and spooky did. He has a nice voice so I wouldn't be upset if he moved on.
7. Lisa Wilson (screamer): Just awful. This is another one who risks getting vocal nodes if she keeps that up. Big no.
8. Tiara Purifoy: I swear Randy and Paula heard a different performance than I did. They thought she was one of the best of the 32. Simon hated her performance and so did I. Pitch, screaming, pushing too hard.
