Actually, it got boring when R. Emmett and Vlad and the rest went out hiatus to defend against the allegations that TAS was behind the "right wing conspiracy" and leaked a bunch of docs to DOJ.
For close to 2 years, George Gilder took over the editorials reins and revamped it into a more literary, tech-oriented mag.
That changed about 8-10 months ago with the "We're Back" issue.
