  Good point.  However:
1.  I found out that the Libertarians are officially opposed to any governmental limitations on the right of gays to marry (or limiting the definition of marriage generally), so I'll be voting Libertarian this year.  Though my letter to the Dem party/candidate may say I'm voting for Nader just to scare them more.  
and
2.  I do agree wholeheartedly with Nader's position that the two party system serves most effectively to limit voter ability to influence policy at the ballot box.  As a fundamental "how does your goverment work to give voice to the concerns and priorities of the people" meta-issue, that is sort of a biggie.
