I also hate all of the Star Wars crap (which I saw for the first time recently). Boring. Don't even get me started on what a waste of time the Lord of the Rings was to me. Saw that at a Cinema Cafe and all the beer in the world couldn't make it watchable for me. So if the answer to what is so awesome about the Matrix is anything like what is so "awesome" about Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, let me know that too and I will skip it.
