I think he is also one of the main reasons that the Palestinians don't have better lives and that only leads to more and more hopelessness and people willing to blow themselves up.
Arafat has kept most of the foreign aid that has been sent to the Palestians for himself and his gang of thugs. If some of that money actually had gone to make life better for the Palestinians, there may be fewer kids willing to blow themselves up.
