This reminds me. Does anyone else here regularly watch Inside the Actor's Studio? I'm not sure why I'm drawn to this show (perhaps because there is nothing else on when it's showing here at 8 pm on Sundays), as it royally annoys me.
From this show, I've learned that actors must think no one else ever considers life. They all seem to love "getting into their emotions," as if no one else feels anything. They love to pretend to be other people. Um, haven't we all sorta taken on a persona (like here or in a bar)? However, they do it because it's "so real." And their bosses are "geniuses" and so "in touch with the human spirit and perspective." Ok, so the partners I've worked with can't always fit in that description. But really, they make their jobs sound like it's just psychotherapy in front of a lot of people. No, thanks.

Sigh. Hanging my head in my hands, I'm not sure I can respond to this. If you don't get the pure beauty of shoes and how they can make an outfit, I'm not sure I can adequately describe their power.
