Hey GWNC, I saw Barenaked Ladies perform last week. They did a very ponderous song about suicide (there was a lyric about a luke-warm bath that squicked my wife to no end), and in the intro, Ed Robertson talked about how there's a bridge in Toronto that was the second-most frequent site for suicides in North America, after the Golden Gate bridge, so they enclosed it. I'd have to think it's somewhere on Bloor/Danforth, no? Any ideas?

Yes. It's the viaduct on bloor-danforth. I used to live beside it. All kinds of people would kill themselves off it - one of the more famous being the guy who broke the sex scandal at Maple Leaf Gardens.
(and there is some Toronto lore for the rest of you)
