A coworker has a Samsonite she really likes. I think it's
this one. Seems sturdy. Elegantly simple and unobtrusive. She travels about one week a month, so it gets a lot of abuse and seems to hold up.
On the other hand, I really like my
L.L. Bean garment bag. (this one's not exactly the same as mine, which seems to have been discontinued, but is very similar) It's smaller than most, but fits a suit, two shirts and a pair of (flat) shoes (and accompanying small stuff, socks, etc.). Folds in thirds instead of in half. No wheels, but it's very, very lightweight. Packed for a two day trip, it's usually lighter than my briefcase.
