Club picked up on White House talking points last week or so, and complained that when Condi Rice testified previously for the commission, not all of the commissioners showed up. It turns out, though, that the White House counsel's office had sent the commission a letter stating that no more than three commissioners could attend interviews with witnesses of Rice's rank. "Given that demand, 'we are a little surprised that the White House has repeatedly implied to the public that commissioners were uninterested in attending these meetings,' commission spokesman Al Felzenberg said Tuesday."
