You know, as I was reading the thread, I was wondering how one would articulate the appropriate time period one should wait before asking one's partner to enact the Repressed Librarian/Overdue Borrower ("Mister Smith, our records show that 'Lady Chatterley's Lover' is
weeks overdue...well, yes, there is a way for you to avoid that fine....") role playing scenario.
