It's far more common common for men to think that a woman who hates them is secretly attracted to them than the opposite. Most professional women have sufficient self-esteem to get passed that.
Let's put it this way: You, Paigow, and Fluffy (including his reincarnations) are the only posters I would avoid meeting in person if given the opportunity. And I've waivered on Paigow in the past.
