I think Bill probably is the better fit, at least for running a Trump company. Trump's mr. risk taker big picture outside the box guy, and Kwame seemed a little more HBS, Dow Jones Industrial kind of guy. Then again, Trump may want a bunch of simp, corporate guys beneath him, since he's the one who does the thinking etc., in which case Kwame would be the better choice. It's sort of hard to see what's best for Trump, though, because Trump doesn't sell much lemonade himself.

Now, WTF did Bill chose the Chicago project, other than because he's from Chicago? It strikes me as a complete morass. first off, he's on for a year, and it's at least a 3 year project. At best trump hires him to work another two years, at which point he needs to find a new job; worse, he's stuck moving it only partly forward. What's more, he's got to deal with construction. I can't imagine dealing with unions and regulators is easy. Sure, you have guys on the team to do it, but in the end, he's got to be the one paying off the zoning director and the union leaders to make sure the steel gets in on union trucks.
Meanwhile, the golf course is a perfect entrepreneurial experience. Put aside San Diego for a minute. Even so, he's building and marketing a club and residential thing. There may be some zoning bullshit to deal with, but most of it is selling image and luxury, while making sure the right ditches get dug. He could actually show some innovation. What's more, he can probably show concrete results in 1 year--it's not done, but he can sell ten lots and set up a club or whatever. Get rehired for more years, and not have an end in sight. Besides, Caroline, who clearly likes him and probably is hot for him, did the golf course thing in NY, so she could be a big help.
As for omarosa, she remains seriously detestable. I really hope, for her sake, because she must have some talent, that she was simply maintaining the act throughout the show, and has learned how she comes off. There's simply no way she can get away with the lying/misleading bullshit she did on the last project once she's in real life. It's like she thinks she can simply talk and bullshit her way out of any situation, so she doesn't make sure to get it right first. Pretty dangerous, especially when you can't do the talk in the end.
