Are Minis sold in America these days different than the Minis they used to sell in Europe? Because a friend who grew up in Europe said that Minis were basically the equivalent of the Yugo there when she was growing up, and now thinks it is so funny that they are being marketed as hot little cars here. I suspect we will soon see the Smart Car as the next hip thing in tiny cars. Having said all that, I have heard that Minis have great handling, and I think a Mini would be a good car if you did all your driving in an urban environment. I'm not sure they really work for the over-6' set, though.
I should probably also note that I don't give a fuck about cars.
