Excuses:
House is unfit for human habitation. House is being remodelled. You've got theater/opera/basketball/ice fishing/canasta tickets and you're not going to be home until late. Client meeting in the morning that you really have to prepare for, including tomorrow night. A website recently crashed and you spent the last 24 hours trying to fix it and now you have to catch up with the missed work/posting. Freak car fire burned all of your laundry, including extra sheets. Guest room already taken over by visiting mother-in-law/fraternity brother/roommate/squatter. You're not feeling well and can't receive guests. You've been planning for weeks to have some alone time together and tomorrow night is the only night that works in a three month period.
Tell her:
Just remind her in excruciating detail how bad it was the last time, and how the above listed excuse will be foolproof.
