Lighten up on Sidd. You'd feel the same way too if you were in his position. He's prematurely made partner in go-go times, buys the partner house, then he's stuck with the boom year partnership buy-in and the draining house payment. He had to lay off his star associate (former classmate and sushi buddy) to make room in the budget for Ty, a lesser producer whose memos are dotted with more references to Josh Marshall blogs than the preferable Prosser on Torts.
And Sidd had to defer to Ty because of the considerable power Ty wielded over the boards, but now he's gone. Deleted. Defenestrated. The only thing that remains is a shadow and an avatar that looks like a glowworm jogging across the ceiling of a cave in New Zealand. It would turn your world upside down.
