No, he'd been pill popping, not shooting up....and he died from choking on vomit, not from the drugs themselves....so when refering to someone who died from choking on their own vomit, I while Bonham may also be a good analogy, one wouldn't say "I think that you're thinking of John Bonham, drummer from Led Zeppelin." to correct someone who had made refernce to Hendrix as a nother death-by-vomit case.
