Good fucking lord it is not. The new 5er is horrendous. And the interior looks incredibly cheap and plasticy--even the "wood" trim looks plastic, and that's only if you upgrade from the plastic "aluminum" trim. Yikes.

I would NEVER buy a new car. I should have noted that. I'd buy the old 5 Series. The new 5 and 7 lines should be aborted.
