Not unexpected to me.

I think you are right on the unemployment % - I think it dropped 0.1%

Or rose .1,

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,115958,00.html

The civilian unemployment rate, however, ticked up 0.1 percentage point from 5.6 percent in February. That occurred because more job seekers renewed their searches last month, but were unsuccessful.

Maybe there are different early reports on the rate.

I'm sure you had this one predicted.

But just out of curiousity -- how long have you been predicting it?

And did you make any bets to cash in on your expectation?

I can't remember when he predicted it, but I can testify that I've heard him repeating it.

Sort of like my watch that's right twice a day?

Don't get me wrong -- it's happy news. I hope it lasts; I like having a strong economy. I would like to see the jobs lost in recent years be regained.

I didn't predict this month in particular, but after the 8.1% growth numbers came out in November, I posted that we were 6 to 9 months away from a job recovery.

More like if you pull tried and tested economic levers, you are going to get a predicted result.

I predict that teams in the American League will win about half of their games this year. I'm working on a prediction for the National League, and will post it later.

Predicting this is like predicting that the market will turn bear or bull. It will. Eventually.

I just hope Club isn't claiming that the job growth is a result of Bush. It's fortunate for Bush, but it's ignorant to assume that a president can effect job growth in the short run. Clinton didn't create the boom in the '90s and Bush didn't kill it in the '00s. This shit happens regardless of who is in the WH.

Good work, Grasshopper. Winning arguments is about choosing your fights.

Well if the Dems are willing to agree to all this, then the Republicans won't crow about good news. That is, do you think Mr. Kerry will stipulate to the truthfulness of your post?

So are you predicting that this will be sustained? Will there be a net gain or loss of jobs in Bush's term?

Actually, I think it's fine the other way around. The Repubs can crow Bush about bringing net job losses back down under 2 million, provided they credit Clinton for the job growth during his presidency.

Deal?

Funny that most elections are decided on the one issue that a candidate/incumbent can't control at all.

Ummm, I'll have to check with my client. You know he's got that irrational hatred against Clinton, so I don't think he'll agree.
