paigow was correct when she guessed that the David schmuck is an actor... here's a link to his pr profile: http://www.lacasting.com/TalentShowc...ALENTID=182971
also apparently the final average guy from the first season will be starring in the third season. not sure how that is supposed to work but the casting call is asking for attractive people. whatever.
ETA: also realityblurred reports that America's Top Model (season 2) will air an "orgy". Though her description is not quite orgy enough --
>>>Tyra Banks revealed that an orgy between four contestants and four men will appear on the show. On Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Tyra said, "There's eight people making out at the same time kinda in the same vicinity, I don't want to say orgy -- but I just said it," the New York Post reports.<<<

Speaking of Tyra Banks, I've been wishing for an Anfernee Hardaway comeback for years just so those Lil Penny commericals can be revived.

WTF was with the southern belle who objected to being spray-painted with cosmetics for a photo shoot because "it wasn't ladylike" and "only her husband should see that"? She's angling for a career as America's top T&A for God's sake. Does this pious moron really expect to be modestly clothed in this job?
And utter lameness for the judge who seemed totally repulsed that a perfect-bodied model had noticeable (but small) breasts. News flash honey--women, even anorexic models, sometimes have them. Sorry if they're inherently icky, but maybe you'd be more comfortable judging another show that doesn't have girls on it?

Not really. I was just feeling contrary. I actually do not recall much or anything of the NW Native episode, and was somewhat surprised to hear the Jehovah sock describe it as a "lynching." In fact, when I read that, I actually began to scroll back to see what the action was that I missed, but became bored with that after a couple of hundred nanoseconds. The only thing I actually remember is me chastising someone for driving the newbie away. But, c'mon, wasn't what really happened that the newbie came on and said something pitiful like, "Well, fine . . . <sniff> . . . maybe I should just . . . <sniff> . . . just go away." And then someone else said "Bye." Was it really much worse than that?

Hello, FB!
I missed all of you yesterday.
Today I have a hangover, but this has not yet caused my breasts to burst out of my bra. I can only hope that my symptoms will improve throughout the day.

I think I speak for all of us in saying that we hope for an improvement too.

You seem to be ascribing a pretty despicable quality to all men: that they want to be married to some woman that they can subjugate, or just generally trick or outwit, and that they never want to be challenged intellectually or how their abilities questioned. Or, that their egos don't allow them to spend time around intelligent women without feeling emasculated. I don't see those kind of attitudes in anywhere near all men.
|
Agree with your dissent. (I'm sure there's some fancy litigation term for this - concur? - but my litigation-speak seems to have left me...)
Anyway, while anecdotal (and therefore, irrefutable proof), my own personal situtation illustrates the opposite of bn'b's findings. My husband went out with lots of chicks before me, but never had a serious relationship, because, while none was necessarily dummies (with the exception of the one immediately preceding me, of course...), they bought his bullshit. I don't really know how else to explain it, but I think I was one of the first women he went out with who knew when he was full of shit and told him so. (Not that this makes me smarter than he is, or him smarter than I am -- we're both smart, but in different ways.)
I will say, however, that (being the competitive, Type-A sorts that we both are), when we are discussing something where one of us is not the clear "smarter" one (like law, for example), it can degenerate into an argument. Luckily, we don't work in the same area of law, or these arguments might happen with greater frequency.

O.K., using my superior search skills, I went back to see what happened:
Newbie sez: "I was invited to come over to LT. But, if you want me to go away, just be a man and say it straight up."
Bitch, please. There is not a poster among us who could say something like that without getting the almost pre-ordained response, this time delivered by LFM, of: "Go away."
So Newbie replies: "Bye."
To which LFM, in one of the rare instances of the sarcastic use of the expression "Not" that I found amusing, says: "Please don't go away. I was kidding.
[large space]
Not."
If this is what the cult sock describes as a "lynching," then I really have become jaded.

You know, I got bored trying to find the posts, too, and gave up. It was too much like looking thru the results of a Lexis search, for something like "(slip w/3 fall) + (slime! w/3 banana)," you know?
Anyway, I want to apologize to Heather. Heather, honey, tell your father's security guards that I won't be standing outside your window in the rain holding a boom-box blasting "In Your Eyes" again tonight, and that they really didn't need to use the pepper spray because I was leaving.

Gillette's newest razor for men delivers electrical pulses to make hair stand on end:

Does this sound appealing to you FB guys? To me this sounds like one of those experiments where a monkey gets shocked everytime it does the wrong thing.

I'm pretty sure that there were other negative posts in there besides LFM's, but I'd agree the whole thing was hardly a "lynching." It was inhospitable, though.
And I'll end it at that so that I don't have to log out and then back in as my "dead fucking horse" sock to mock myself.

this pretty much explains things to me: "retailing for $14.99, including two refills packages and a Duracell battery, which Gillette also makes."
I say, add another blade and be done with it.
But, I'll stick with my sensor, which I find remains more maneuverable than my mach 3.

I thought Paigow was Heather. Even is more Veronica. That's who killed people.
